Yesterday morning I hung my frock, left the room to make toast, then came back to find this shadow of lace curtain and bougainvillea across the wall. At first all I could do is stand there in awe, then I grabbed the camera.
......
I think I found my people. Last night, through the SF Jazz Summerfest series we heard an amazing Balkan Gypsy brass band called Fanfare du Belgistan. This is it, this is the stuff, and I am joining the gypsies.
(Jennifer - they are in LA tonight, Levitt Pavilion, MacArthur Park.

Love the frock and the sound of your new gypsy discovery!
Janis,
I'm sorry I can't make it to see the gypsies tonight,
we just had dinner with our best friends, and after that we are done. Not much energy left after a long work week.
Beautiful pictures,though!
