The things that make me grumpy when sewing are buttonholes, armholes and sleeves. Love them, but just don't like doing them. This project was originally to tackle these ongoing frustrations and fears. I am proud to say I did it. The buttonholes were a success after many, many attempts, as you can see (hooray). i hate making button holes, too. they drive me crazy, and i've already almost ruined 2 perfectly cute shirts recently because of the button holes not being sewn properly and my machine catching in the middle. arrrgggggggh!. a similar project for myself is in the works. thanks for reminding me... it's easy to procrastinate on this one.
