...more oakgalls for natural fabric dyeing. Hoping for a nice gray-chocolate brown.
I can never walk away from an oakgall under a tree.
...and making
...crepe paper garlands for the mantle. Laurel or olive you ask? Haven't decided yet. Guess it all depends on what type of "berry" I add ... or if I add anything at all. We'll see.

Those oak galls are Huge!!
I love your paper garland. It looks very real. Any chance of producing them for your shop?
Always lovely to stop by here :)
Xx
i can't even imagine running into an oakgall. don't think i've ever seen one in my life! but i'm fully confident that you will get a good color out of yours. the mantel garland looks lovely.
And ??? What's your choice?
Jennifer thanks...you're such a sweetie. Garlands in the shop? Not sure, I wasn't planning on it, but I'll have to think about that... :^)
MP - You probably have loads of them in your hills. Next time you walk under an oak tree, look on the ground under the branches - though not all oaks are prolific!
Otli - still undecided...
Paper? I thought they were real. Nice work.
