About a day ago. Dusk looking westI took a plein air class a few years back and instead of painting the scenery in
front of me, I painted the sky. The teacher was not very pleased,
but oh well. I have never been into capturing a complicated landscape,
but finding inspiration in it. Seems like forever since I got my oils out.
Maybe this weekend. Looking forward to looking up again.

I take photos of my sky so often: every time I look up I stare in amazement!
Talking about amazement, thanks for the link to D's sites, the woman & the bird is so beautiful, and the metal wire sculptures are incredible - I've been trying to make a super simple stylized tree, and all I get is something that looks like warped wire. If I were less shy I'd have left appreciation comments about his work.
I should definitely be a member. I am constantly looking up.

I have lots of clouds too...adore the inspiration...sometimes stop at the street, take a look up...and just transport myself to other place.
yes, i'm constantly looking up too! see the sky and found the clouds is another way to keep calm and remember where we are...
