Peace, Love, Shopping

The Good Earth Grocery store mural in Fairfax CA

and my shopping list.

...hugging segment added by Daniel who first observed that
the Good Earth is for public hugging and peacefully hanging out.

.......

Happy but spacey. What is this? Feels like jet lag. We finally hooked up the internet at home so I'll be making the rounds to all the lovelies slowly but surely. In the meanwhile a to do list:

Finish unpacking (ha)
Find a yoga class
draw, paint, or do some art form even if it feels hard to begin
Pay attention while driving
explore the nooks and unknowns
learn to make bread and make veggie soups

.....

I leave you with Milo warming his bones

Now that sounds like the right place to be, hugs on the shopping list! no hugs to be found outside our door, just loud large bosomed grannies sweeping their front stoops and gossiping.

milo, rispetto... while your (what are you to milo, actually?) friend (?) janis goes out to randomly hug some peaceful nutters dressed as a conker :) ah, the good life, ei.

Rivera is not dead! And your house seems to be a dreamy one!

Now, I'll always add hugs on my lists.

I like many of the classes at Yoga Mountain studio in Fairfax. And I think it is just so cool that I fell in love with your drawings and was an appreciator of your blog before you moved here, and now there's a photo of the store where I shop (and occasionally hug, but without humming) at the top of your post. Wonderful.

You are cracking me up. We so know Good Earth, we lived in San Anselmo when Good Earth was a tiny store on Bolinas Rd. And I remember when they first opened the big store the year we moved away, I was so bummed. They have the best produce and everytime we visit we see old friends, in that hug fest place - what a hangout, eating lunch on the tiny mosaic tables. Be sure to try Scoop (organic ice cream). My favorite flavor is cinnamon. You will not have a hard time finding a yoga class. I didn't do yoga back then so I don't know where to direct you. You lucky girl. You are living in such a wonderful place. I am happy for you. 2 posts in a row making me homesick!! (SF and Marin) xxooT
