James Castle

James Castle: A Retrospective

At the Berkeley Art Museum, until April 25th.

So inspiring.
Soot and spit, and found art materials.

There is a book (catalog) of the show that is probably available at libraries.
Worth a look.

Fabulous artist janis... I watched the u-tube video about him as I had not heard of his work. Was that the artist terry Winters towards the end?
anyway... a true artist in the deepest sense and I am glad you shared this. Love that shirt in the frame... in the video I just loved the range but always the seeing was so consistent. Fabulous drawings!
have a lovely week Janis!
