I have been given the Creative Award by Finn and Elisabelle -
two people who take poetic photographs,
and who's blogs I enjoy visiting very much.
With this award I am to reveal seven things
about myself, so here they are...
1. I have dual citizenship, and two passports: US and Italy.
2. My nickname was Peaches when I was growing up.
3. I'm a person of contrasts and contradictions.4. I prefer soft light and quiet sound.
5. I'd rather ask a cow to dinner, than eat a cow for dinner. I'm a veggie.
6. I love clouds, wind, and rain, and wish it was always autumn.
7. Lately I've been dreaming of running fast, lifting off, and flying without wings.
.....
Since there are so many creative souls out there,
I am tagging anyone who would like to participate.
.....
Happy Valentine's Day

I love your 7 things and my favorite is #5!
Your cat is so cute! Happy Valentine's day!
You really seem like an interesting person, Janis! Love your 7 revelations, I hope you'll be able to fly soon;)
Lovely photo, Janis. Peaceful. And, in fact, if you are a person of contrasts and contradictions, of dual citizenship, and between earth and air, you seem at peace with it all.
Your seven things are so poetic!
I love your nickname!
soft light and quiet sound are my favorite too!

Anna- I see it now... ;^)
ModLisa - I was born and raised here in the bay area and just obtained my Italian citizenship two years ago... see: http://janis-paintbox.blogspot.com/2008/08/viva-italia.html
