

Berkeley is so darn cool. In this one small city there is so much creativity per square inch it blows my mind... Yesterday we saw a matinee of
Aurelia's Oratorio at the Berkeley Rep, but before the show we made a detour to my favorite shop on earth, Tail of the Yak. Here are some early birthday treasures I carefully picked out, then turned my back while the purchase was made :^) Pictured is a very fragrant soap, a lettering pen, sealing wax, and a bird comb to hold in my hand and admire.

is the tail of the yak not the best name of all time? love it! p.s. i used to sell that soap in my shop. it comes from iran. it does smell great. :)

Oh I think I'd love this shop! Beautiful treasures! I had the same great "heart" soap, I think it came from Tade / Aleppo Syria.
