I'd love to be there, in those streets. About the back to the land, we have a very successful organization here, Slow Food, which advocates traditional and local food produced traditionally and locally and "slowly". At the beginning, it was a fantastic movement and philosophy of producing, buying and eating, it now is somewhat of an enterprise.
A GAINT bravo to Maira for that AMAZING journey! Oh, wouldn't Edible Schoolyards be so profound in every school in America!? I'm excited at the possibilities! Awesome piece!
