so beautiful! the dirt road behind our house is full of bougainvillea snow too. it's so beautiful. i especially like it when they start to fade a bit. makes them so dreamy.

These are beautiful!! We saw so many in Greece - do you know that these are not actually the blossom but leaves that change to look like blossom....my developmental biologist friend told me this! They are called bracts....and the blossom is the small white flower in the middle - it makes them even more miraculous to me!!

I love Bougainville, they remind me of Sardinia, thats where my father lives. They grow everywhere and I love them.
