Glen Park, San Francisco
We walked from Glen Park to Noe Valley and then back again.
The scent of blossoms was intoxicating.
It was warm enough I could take off my sweater,
the grey one I live in with the rhinestone pin.
It felt a little odd shedding my layer, it's still February.

sounds like a good old ramble. reminds me of one we did one year up buena vista hill (?) when it was all about ceanothus and maybe foxgloves....nice.
pretty!
I love Modigliani paintings ...
Mp - humm, do you mean Buena Vista Park in the Haight, or Bernal Heights near Glen Park I'm wondering. Either way, sounds like you rambled at a good time :^)
Isabelle - same here!
Pink and blue, sometimes are the same... beauty. You are a magician ;)
Such lovely colours. I can almost feel the warmth! I'm missing spring and summer so much. Lucky you :).
PS: I started writing an answer to you the other day. Hope you don't mind it takes a bit time.
I can smell the blossoms, delicious pinks and blues!!
♡
Your photos make me yearn for spring! Hopefully the nice weather will make its way east sometime soon.
I spent most of today with one less layer, and the pink snow...I've been enjoying it too. Good stuff, Janis.
Lovely spring smell....
Oh, spring is there! I too have a hard time switching from warm clothes to summer outfits - and usually go from wearing winter boots to sandals, and skip the intermediate shoe stage. On the other hand, as soon as temps cool in September, I'm the one with the sweater, while everyone else is tank tops!
Serene beauty...the colors, the flowers, the houses, the modigliani! Thank you for your poetry, Janis, happy week :-)
