We left work early today to "run errands". There has been so much rain lately that the sun had a pull on us too hard to resist. We needed to stretch our legs. Lunch, library, mailbox, bank, and a short walk that lasted the rest of the day. Though don't let the blue skies fool you, it was still very chilly and I prepared myself by layering like an onion. Long socks, multiple sweaters, fingerless gloves, and a substantial scarf were worn. I also remembered to tuck the mandatory kleenex up my sleeve.

Loved your tour, but loved your breakfast table the most. I need that sunshine here in rainy London.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Greetings from London.

I imagine I taste the salad, read the words you read, see these beautiful scenes walking, feel the sun...

It's a nice moment.

That sunshine was so nice yesterday, wasn't it? I bet you like having The Roastery in San Anselmo now, too -- though I know you'll still find good reasons to come a little ways west. :-)

San Anselmo is so cute! Yesterday we had the blue skies and some actual warmth but this morning socked in tulle fog and 35 degrees.

I want to dine at that little cafe!

looks so nice and bright ... and I wouldn't mind the stop for a snack at that café :)

From this point of view (-30 degrees), it looks like heaven... and I wouldn't mind that book. At all. Happy weekend!

Thanks for the reminder of San Anselmo today. I spent much time there as a young girl, visiting with my grandparents. I hold a special place in my heart for summer days there. In my mind's eye I can always recall the view of Mt. Tam from their living room window.

Thanks so much. Cheers~

What a great thing to do. Listen to the sun! Over here it's all dusk and snow storms. I am still on holiday so that's a perfect excuse for sitting by the fire, reading.

when the little feet want out and "a-walking", the busy head must "a-follow" presto! :)

My parents favorite coffee shop! Do they still have that charming toy store that has all the dolls and dollhouses?
