Kit-kit-dizze


In the hills, the colors are gold and green,
and the air is filled with the spicy scent of kit-kit-dizze,
a flowering plant that grows here in the low chaparral. When I am walking and the landscape is dry and fragrant, I'll catch myself whistling the theme song to "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly." Puzzling... I don't ever remember seeing the movie (I've never like Westerns) but I must have some childhood association that connects the dry landscape, scented flower, and this song.
The funny thing is I got Daniel doing it now.

beautiful Janis... i'd like to come walking in the low chaparral...that sounds so romantic... chaparral?
and a plant called kit-kit-dizze...is this indigenous?

i could practice whistling... it all sounds marvellous to me!
