And I must mention my kitty tribe have been great bedside companions. Though as I write this, Mr. Milo is dipping his paw into my water glass. Maybe testing the water? His way of taking care of me :)

That's so sweet (Mr Milo). Me too is in bed with some kind of summer flu. It will pass. I love the photo. The beauty of the smallest things...

i am so happy, though, to see the name of this tree. we have a giant one outside from our kitchen. it's visible from far away, the color is amazing. and for weeks and weeks we had purple rain all around the entrance to the house. but i didn't know the name, jacaranda flowers.
