Northern town

Quiet, subtle beauty, this is Bow-Edison. A small town north of Seattle and south of Bellingham. On our way to the airport (and on our last day in Washington) we stopped in to pick up some fresh baked bread and smoked salmon, and to admire some of Bow-Edison's old funky charm. A nice way to spend Easter Sunday...

....

I checked out your flickr site, so nice!
In summer 2002 we were traveling the west coast. We didn't get further north than something called Crater lake in Oregon. Then we had to turn because of the wood fires.

Karen - Thank you!... You were on the west coast, ohhh! I visited Crater Lake once when I was a child, but haven't been back since...and those terrible fires. Unfortunately it seems to be happening more and more especially when we lack rain.

Schanett and Outi - Thank you,
and W E L C O M E :)
