These are tiny watercolor doodles of my ideal winter. Quiet, grey, a little sleepy. This might sound strange coming from a native Californian, though it makes me wonder if reincarnation and past lives really do exist.... why would I crave it so?
I must admit, I really enjoyed my long walk in the hills yesterday under blue sky and mild temps (60's)... but, this is JANUARY! Maybe I'll take some photos next time I venture out and share my "true" winter landscape with you.

it comes from reading books, I'm sure. T was very disappointed that there was no snow for christmas. He wasn't sure whether christmas really had taken place without any snow. But a white christmas rarely exists...
